Ranked #1 in her city with over 10,000 of high school graduates, Li left her hometown Nanjing and entered the School of Architecture at Tsinghua University. After 5 years of hard work and countless sleepless nights at the design studios, Li decided to return to her passion for math and received her Ph.D. in statistics from University of Illinois, Chicago. She founded Recursion Co, a mortgage analytics firm after a successful career in Wall Street, and lives in Long Island with her husband, her daughter Angela, and her son Isaac. An active runner, Li is a warm hearted person always willing to offer her help, without any reservation. Li connected us with the local people in Shou Xian, An Hui, where we started our first project.
